It is important to store these cleaning products in a lightweight portable hand caddy, that you can easily carry from room to room.

Our Home is Best Cleaning and Detailing cleaning professionals actually have an additional cleaning caddy that contains cotton cleaning clothes, garbage bags and a duster.

The cleaning products should be kept simple, and provide for the basic cleaning needs:

• Wood Polish
• Stainless Steel Cleaner
• Mild Abrasive Cleaner (as needed)
• Cotton Cleaning Clothes (or paper towels if you prefer)

Cabinets

Your cabinet fronts, doors and drawer fronts are painted or made from finished hardwoods.

For finished hardwoods, washing with water can damage them. Preserve the beauty of the wood with a “wood friendly” cleaning product, furniture polish or lemon oil, instead. Clean up splashes and spatters promptly and dry the surface thoroughly to avoid permanent stains.

To maintain your painted surfaces, keep them clean and dry. Wipe up smudges with a soft cloth.

Squeaky hinges can be lubricated with a tiny drop of approved lubricant applied to the top of the hinge. Open and close the door several times to work the oil into the hinge. Then wipe up any excess immediately.
